BlueKey Restoration Awarded Veteran Affairs Restoration Project

SAN ANTONIO, TX - BlueKey Restoration was recently awarded a Veteran Affairs (VA) restoration project in San Antonio, outbidding some of the largest construction companies in the city.  This project was one of many large loss insurance claims that Bluekey Restoration has assisted their clients in navigating through the complex insurance claims process. Bluekey Restoration is proud to attest that their team of experts was able to successfully negotiate an amicable settlement that allowed work to commence within an acceptable timeline for all parties involved.

A severe storm had partially collapsed the rear entrance canopy to the VA Hospital.  Upon inspection, BlueKey Restoration immediately deployed an OSHA safety team to ensure the area was safe, then quickly followed up with a demolition team to implement the OSHA findings and bring the hospital patient access area back to a condition which was usable and safe for all those entering the hospital.  The project is still underway, as BlueKey Restoration is diligently working to restore the hospital entrance to its original, pre-loss, condition.

A veteran himself, BlueKey Restoration President David Lewgood is very proud of his new relationship with the Veterans Association of South Central Texas.  "As a Gulf War Veteran, I am proud to serve and work with my fellow Veterans and those that take care of them.  I consider this an honor for myself and my company."

As a testament to Lewgood’s commitment to serving, BlueKey Restoration donated a portion of their proceeds to provide school supplies for the local San Antonio Disabled and Homeless Veterans’ children.  BlueKey Restoration looks forward to the newly formed partnership with the VA System and its associates.
